    No picture 42PC3

    Hi,

is there any manual (training or similar) that gives more information than the useless service manual??

The hybrid module on the Z-sustain was defective, repaired it. Still no picture.

VS and VA are ok and get to the Y sustain board. The hybrid module on the Y board seems to be ok, no direct shorts are measurable.
There was one FET shorted, replaced it, nothing changes, it doesn't blow again either. There is humming noise coming from the board... Don't really know how to proceed.

This is the service manual, There are next to no informations about the sustain boards. I'd need a training manual maybe (or even better a schematic)

One fuse on the Z was open, all other fuses were ok. Z is repaired.
I can't see any other defective semiconductors on the Y.

I don't know what is supposed to be coming out exactly from the Y board to the buffers :-/ I have a scope to measure.

Also does the Zsus make a buzz noise.

                      You know the answer :-D

Yes, everything makes nice buzzing noises, only I have no picture. I would need to know what to measure on the output of the Y-sustain...

                          Haha, too funny.

No, there is no glow coming from the screen, it's completely off. The blown FET on the Y sustain makes me think there might be something else on this board....

If there is no -Vy and Vsc you will not get a glow, so check if these are present. Can be shorted Y-buffer, which will cause no glow.

Also you replaced the IPM on the Z sustain did you check the fusible resistors that are located below that IPM.? I believe they're labeled 101 and they're black rectangular shape.

However you should still have a picture with a zsus completely disconnected will this be very dim in this proportion and kind of like tearing paper

I get VSC constant 110VDC and -VY goes on and off all the time 0V/5V. Like half a second on then off and so on. There seems to be a problem with this voltage.

Is it save to disconnect the Y-buffer from the Y sustain and turn the TV on?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                                          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                                          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Recently I've gotten into EC flashing due to my broken laptop(s) and started frantically searching methods for flashing the IT5571E-128 chip on the cheap(due to me beaing a student and not having a job) and noticed that ITE newer chips can be flashed via ISP (In-System Programming) either via SMBus or the KBC (EPP - Enhanced Parallel Port) interface. While these can be achieved with programmers like SVOD4/3 or the RT809H/F those options are WAYYY out of my budget so I was horrified. But recently I stumbled uppon some programmers on aliexpress that claim they can program a variety of ITE chips...

                                          Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

                                          1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
                                          2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
                                          3. I've checked voltages...
