Re: LC-42SB45U Needs To Warm Up To Turn On

The good news is that the TV powers on instantly now.

The bad news is that the kit I bought on eBay only had 2 of the 4 caps required to replace the CapXon caps. It had the 2700uF and the 1000uF but it did not contain the two 680 uF caps.

It was the 2700 uF that was leaking, so obviously I replaced that one and I replaced the 1000 uF cap as long as I had it.

I guess I'll just hope for the best for now.

Thanks for all the help. I'm glad I found this forum.

Having trouble with this set, green power light flashes erratically with no pattern, after power button pressed. No 12v or 24v at cable to main board and no power on voltage signal measured either.

Caps all look good. Getting 4.5v at standby with cable to main board disconnected.
