been offered this tv, has a single thin line down left side of screen, whats your thoughts, on this ?

That's usually unrepairable chip failure on the lower vertical VA COF. Since it's a plasma those things have an awful lot of voltage going through them and when you have a line on the screen its best just to leave matters alone or you'll make it worse.

^ Agreed lines out on any Plasma or Lcd are normally not fixable. Dont bother buying anything for it.
