Samsung LED TV UA32F5000AR Flickering Issue (HELP)

Hi to all veterans here in Badcaps.net, I'm Mark Jayson from Philippines and I have a flickering LED TV (Samsung UA32F5000AR). I had replaced the power supply board with a new one but still the flickering issue remains. I had little knowledge about troubleshooting a LED TV and also doesn't have tools to do so. What is the other possible cause of flickering? I'm hoping you could help me fix my tv.

I attached pictures of my LED TV for references.
You can also view how it flickers here(actual video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2o9FOyX6ApY

What tools do you have? Do you have at least Digital meter?
BTW, I cannot read the P/N on the barcode sticker of that power supply board, it looks like BN44-005??

None sir, power supply board is BN44-00605B. I ordered a new one from Thailand but still, the flickering remains. Several months ago, I googled this flickering issue and found a forum that has a member with same issue and same unit, he said that his tv was able to fixed by a technician by tracing a gap in pcb track/fuse. I'm searching that forum/post in the internet now but I wasn't able to find it anymore.

So if you remove the cable between the new power supply-LED driver board combo and the main board, the BACKLIGHTS still flicker, if that is the case, the only thing left will be the backlights LEDs or bad connections on the LED strips' connectors.
BTW, just to be sure, you are talking about the backlights are flickering or the Pictures are flickering?

Done what you've said sir and it was the backlights that flicker, i'll check tomorrow morning the whole backlight part, it's just a little hard to disassemble.

Hi sir, i found one(1) dead LED backlight, is there a way to bypass this one? I can't find a replacement that can be ordered online even on ebay. I attached the pictures of dead LED.

You remove the bad LED and replace with 5 Diodes (1n4007) connected in series, you will have to scrape off the paint on the board to get to the bare copper.

Thanks for the follow-up, you should turn down the backlights level (not the brightness) down to as low as you can (and still see good pictures) in the on screen menu setup, that will help extend the life of the LEDs, do that to any TV you have and in the future.

Had a quick look, saw a few powersupply boards for like 90 bucks, that's sick for a 32 inch tv, did you take voltage measurements on the powersupply? have a look at the second video below, shows how to take voltage measurements, HEED THE HIGH VOLTAGE WARNING.

After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)

                                  Hello,

                                  I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
                                  1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                                  2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                                  3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

                                  Hi,

I have a samsung tv (2009, works well) apart from an imminent flickering issue for some time.

                                  Model: LA46B550K1R
                                  Model code : LA46B550K1RLXL
                                  Ac:100-260 V 50-60Hz, 240W
                                  Power supply circuit: BN44-00265B

I read through the forums and found other Samsung models both 46, 55 inches , old and new with similar issues. Two things stood out:
                                  1. eco setting in tv was recommended to be switched off
                                  2. Jumper number JP852 was recommended to be cut off.

Now before opening the tv i tried playing around with the...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
                                  by vincentedel
                                  Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...
