One of my son's friends has a big TV that will not power on unless you play with the power cord in the outlet to get to turn Yea I know this is a real NO-NO
I thinking self l not going even try to power this set on I going to pull the cover off and let see what happen to it
Well I did not see any caps that had blown there tops but that dose not mean any thing any way
So let recap this power board and let see what happen next
Well here are the results
10uf@50 volts caps have an ESR reading of .75 a new one KY has a reading of .35
47uf@50 volts caps have an ESR reading of .75 a new one LXY has a reading
.35
The old one was a100uf @50 volt cap has an ESR reading of .75 The new one is a 100uf @63 cap ( LXY ) has a reading
.35
470@35 volts caps have an ESR reading of .05 a new one has about the same as a KZE
820uf@ 35 volts caps have an ESR reading of .05 a new one has about the same as a KZE
1000@10 volts caps have an ESR reading of .05 a new one has about the same reading as a KZE
Well after I recapped the board --->
I put power to the set and hit the power button the set came ON and ran with no other problem turn it on and off a few time and every thing seem to be fine
So for about $10.00 in caps and about 2 hours of work it is up and running again
