New to these forums and with TV repair so please let me know if I need to be more descriptive/technical with my explanation.
So I inherited this TV (LNT4671FX/XAA) and it works as intended in terms of picture/audio. My issue is that I cannot use the remote/buttons on the side of the TV to change the source. Currently I can hook up a PC via VGA and use it however I would like to try and tackle fixing the main issue here. I know the remote is working as intended because it works with another Samsung monitor I have and I have tried the IR trick (pointing it at a camera to see flashing IR lights).
My best guess is that I need to open the TV up and change one of the component boards however I am not sure which part would handle the receiving of the signal/operation of the buttons on the side.
