I will splice into the 3 connectors coming from the power supply, I have 3 more connectors to attach so that it fits

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
Each pair of strips are wired together for power thru the white/black wires, so you only need to connect the power supply wires to one of the strips in each pair. The other power connectors on the other strips are left unused.Comment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
each board has 2 connectors it looks as if each are jumping to the next board. I don't understand how I can leave one blank? each one has 2 connectors so each one will be jumping to the one across from it. then I can put a connector in each 1 on 1 side, then the empty 3 connectors will be empty on the other side is that ok?Comment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
so that's what I did and as soon as I plug any connector from the psu to a light it shuts the power led light off on outside of tv.... I tried connecting it to 1 light only without the jumper and still does itComment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
The problem is that you need to look at the LED connector on the LED driver board to see how those 3 pair of the RED/BLACK wires are configure at the connector of the board, more like likely that they are arranged so they are connected in series to form one big long LED STRING, that is how these cheaply made LED backlights are setup since they do not need to individually control 3 string with 3 MOSFETs + related circuit.
The LED strip should have + & - signs on them.
What you are showing in the pictures are 3 large strips (8 LEDs per strip), each large strip has 2 smaller strip with 4 LEDs, so each large strip has 8 LEDs.Never stop learning

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
Please show a good pic of the other side of the strip so we can see how the connectors are wired.Comment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
There is not a Connector at the other end look at the first picture up top. The way the wires from the psu aRe 3 sets on plus and minus red black.... put these strips are not ran like that so I'm trying to figure out how can I run them?Comment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
No, I meant the underside of the strips. Flip one over and take a pic.Comment

There's absolutely nothing at all on there can't see anything but the color brownComment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
The reason it ain't working are the strips are ran in parallel and out the tv there are 3 sets of red black ran in series so I'm trying to figure out how to Re wire the connection coming out the tv to fit these parallelComment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
Is the brown material a plastic film or tape? Peel it off. You need to find out how the connectors and LEDs are electrically wired on the strip. I suspect you may have the wrong strips for that unit, but that doesn't mean it can't be made to work somehow.Comment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
I will get pictures soon but the way it's ran to power supply is +,-,+,-,+,- the old led strips had 10 led light a on each strip. And only 3 strips. These ones came out another proscan same size just ran differentlyComment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
Seems you need to know if the power supply has a LED driver chip to determine if the three wires go to one source or three different pins on a LED driver. Then you will have to figure out how the other proscan 39 drove its leds by doing the same thing, tracing the wires back to the power supply board to find the source they are coming from.Comment

Re: help me run these led strips please!!!
They can easily arrange them so the LED strings are connected in series or parallel, that is why you need to look at the traces on the connector and the circuit around the LED driver.Never stop learning

by edugimenoHi There!
I bought a broken 32" TV today. It has sound but no image. I checked with a flashlight and it was missing backlight
Disassembled down to the led strips and found this TV has been serviced before. Not sure if it was fixed, worked again for some time, and broke again, or maybe last repair wasn't successful
Looks like on previous repair, the center LED strip was replaced with a different model, 7 leds in it instead of 8, but when checking LEDS one by one, leds on the center strip were brighter with same test voltage (multimeter in DIODE mode) so maybe the... -
by eccerr0rI suspect a lot of you have done a lot of repairs and end up with a lot of bad LED strips...what do you do with them?
Wonder if I should get a pile of LED chips and try to replace the bad units for the heck of it, but I don't really need the strips at the moment because I bought the strips...
Oh... and I think I got my TV working again, though not 100% I don't think, on a white screen I can see a bit of the ghost of the LED strips, must have done something wrong or the LED strips aren't quite the same as the original... -
by CapLeakerI’ve had and got a few projects using quality CAT6 and CAT7 23awg solid copper, shielded, direct burial cable. Each time I use CAT7 connectors, most of them fail making good connections to the 4 wire pairs after crimping. I tied a couple of crimping tools, thinking my crimper is bad. Also used different CAT7 RJ45 connector manufacturers. Same thing. I kinda calculate 6 connectors to make one cable!
Get this: I use CAT5 or CAT6 connectors, no problem. Very rare I have a miss crimp with those. So what gives?!...

by h4rdw4reHi guys,
I have one very old TV.
Main problem I have with this tv is that led strips won't light.
I measured voltage levels, and inverter input is 24V.
other voltages are also ok.
What I found is that removing and connecting again connector CN1 led strips lights for shorts time (but only once). When led strips lights up then light is uniformly spread on whole panel.
First I thought that led strips are dead, but I'm quite sure that problem is not strips related.
I don't know what voltage level is at output of inverter board (samsung SSL400_3E2A) and how... -
by EniaroI have a number of laptops with damaged USB-C connectors.
I wonder if I can buy a few replacement connectors from Mouser to keep, as it seems like the wafer in the middle breaks easily and oftentimes causes shorts.
I do know there are multiple connectors out there, but I'm curious to know which are most commonly used and how can I identify and purchase the correct ones.
I purchased USB mini-B connectors in the past, only to find out that the connector was flipped (Lenovo smh). - Loading...
