This 24 Inch LED Tv was brought to me for repair by a guy who salvages them from skips , dumpsters or what ever you call them. The TV would not come out of standby due to a leaky 2200 uf 10 V capacitor . I have ringed the cap on the photo to make it easy to locate. A few little things to note on servicing this tv are 1, Make sure the mains filter capacitor is discharged before handling the power board , it holds charge for many hours. It zapped me.
2, make sure the white ribbon connector that connects from the power board to the flat panel is connected the right way round before re fitting the back , the blue marking on the connector faces towards the orange capacitor.
3 Removing the Back cover - There are 4 screws along the bottom of the back cover, the sides and top of the back cover need prying off as it is held in by clips.
I hope this helps some one out who has a none worker with the same fault.
