See the diagram on page 2? Check pin 1 and 4.
BTW, any one of the 4 transformers looks burnt or have burnt smell?

not sure if I am measuring correctly but not getting any reading between pin 1 and 4 on three transformers, on the 4th transformer am getting 0.32 between 1 and 4, if that makes sense to you

OK, I see why now, one of the transformer has pin 2 and Pin 3 linked together, the other 3 do not so on the other 3 transformer you will take the readings between 1 & 2, and 3 &4 instead.

"on the 4th transformer am getting 0.32 between 1 and 4"
"all 4 transformers give the same reading of 1.6 between pins 1 & 2 and pins 3 &4"
1.6K? and only 3 have the same reading, right? if that is the case, then them seems to be OK.

I have to study the IC spec sheet I provided to figure that out.
Pin 2 looks to be shutdown timing cap, but I do not know if pin 5, 6, and 7 will still be able to kick in the protection or not. You can Ground pin 2 and see.

looking very close at the screen lit I am convincing myself that there is one backlight lamp not lit, slight shadow across screen 3rd lamp up from the bottom of screen, I have never noticed it before and is hardly noticable

At this point we know the inverter circuit is probably OK, since the Inverter board has fingers for high Voltage that fit into the sockets where the ends of the lamps are, you may want to inspect the socket first before taking the panel apart to inspect the lamps, just be real careful, those fingers of the circuit board break real easy.

anyone know where I can get a replacement ccfl tube prefer from uk, new or used, before I take the screen apart, I would rather have a spare tube ready if I need to replace one than take the screen apart then have to wait for a replacement to arrive.
I did find references on the net that it is known for these lamps sometimes to become disconnected and just need clipping back, however can not tell without taking screen apart

No do not remove the connector, you will break the lamps.
Yes, it can be bad connection on the lamp socket.

yes just realised not to remove the connector, have sourced a replacement lamp from a local tv repair company will take it apart and replace the lamp as soon as I get the replacement

                                            Hello,

YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo

I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.

On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.

I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.

I changed the battery with a new and original battery.

I also had corrosion/oxidation on the...

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

                                            Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

                                            Hello,
I have my TV model UE50KU6070 which I am trying to repair.
                                            BN41-02528A / BN94-10800C motherboard.
If I disconnect the motherboard from the power board, the backlight works. When the motherboard is connected the backlight works but the screen remains black.
When I plug the TV into the electrical outlet, the standby LED lights up but no reaction to an attempt to start it with the remote control for about 1 minute. During this minute the TV consumes about 20W.
After one minute the consumption drops to 0W and the TV can turn on with the remote control but...

I came around this forum last week with the goal of repairing my faulty gaming laptop, indeed, I was video editing on it when suddenly a black screen popped and never disappeared I bought some stuff to try to repair it and learn as many things as possible about computer repairs but nothing worked so far. When the black screen appeared, my legion 5 pro was connected to my external monitor...
