    Samsung PS443D490: BN44-00442B PSU Clicks

Got this TV, I want it for personal use. When it's plugged in, the relay keeps clicking and the red light flashes but thats it.

I have replaced everything except tcon and psu. The other parts work as the guy who I bought those from confirmed he pulled them from a working tv (he's genuine) but I now feel it's the psu.

PSU looks perfect and no cold solder joints. Any clue?

    Edit:

Im not getting VS but I do get B15V.

really needs to be in the TV section. the guy might be genuine but the parts can still be bad. don't quite understand why you'd pull apart a working TV and sell the parts?

I think you mean logic board , tcon is a LCD term.

If the logic board has a slow led blink like once every 5 secs it's in protect.

You could go for the mainboard isolated and try the test patterns from the logic but I think there's a chance you may bad sustains or buffers. I these are prone for xmain failure and that can also damage the ymain too.

You could isolate the x & y , backprobe Vs as you turn on and see if it shows but these shutdown also with either removed

Hi. He tested the boards before posting. All board I got from him works. But I do think its the psu as I have found only one moset to be short. And I only get B15v, no Va nor VS.

Replace that mosfet and see if it works.
Don't buy those $10 PSU "specials". They fail, and they have taken whole computers with them.
