Fuzzy/snowy picture - Samsung Plasma TV

I found this TV next to a dumpster. We fixed it by replacing the X and Y sustaining boards and it was working perfectly for a couple of minutes until steam started to rise from the top, while the cover was still off. We turned the TV off. After it cool down, we turned it on and now the screen has black on the top and bottom, and there is a burn in after a change of scene. The rest of the picture is snowy. We are using the HDMI input from a laptop.

Looks like the x-main has failed.

Most commonly it'll be the X.
Youd need to get the y waveform to be 100% positive.

First things first--Before dragging Scopes out and all that!

Check ALL the Voltage Supplies such as Vs, Va, VSC, -Vy, Ve/V-ZBias etc....

ANY missing/wrong and those should be investigated.

From the description--I'm suspecting a VSC/-Vy fault, as it has slow refresh/image-retention

You also dont mention the Model Number of the set. Good quality Pictures of all the boards in the set can help too.....
