37LB30Q Proscan LCD TV Colors are inverted (Black to white)

Symptoms:
The tv had a solarized image to start with so as much research as I could manage, I replaced the T-conn board.

Now after putting it all back together, the colors are inverted. (Please see pictures)

I've been through the service menu thread for Proscan so I don't think there is a service menu that I can find on this TV.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Is the "inverted" picture something we should recognise?

Perhaps pictures shoeing the part numbers of each Tcon and barcode would help

So sorry, The inverted image is one of the standard Mac backgrounds. I didn't even think about describing it.

I'm attaching the inverted color image of the picture. The icons on the launchbar should be recognizable now, at least the Google Chrome one for me.

Ok - never used a Mac - did you see this for Win 7 you need to read the comments to see how he did it. Magnify then alt i IIRC - Maybe there is a way of doing this on a MAC

EDIT: I just photoshopped the original picture. Though I did just try what you suggested and it works!

Ok, So to clarify, this isn't just a problem with just the VGA input, I have the same problem with antenna and even the TV menu seems inverted as well.
I don't have an HDMI connection to test it with right this second.

To do that on a mac you (I used a windows keyboard for this) press and hold CTRL-Windows-ALT and then press 8 on a mac.

For the windows he used an accessibility on magnifier, it's just a checkbox to invert colors.

So Thankyou very much for what appears to an AWESOME workaround. A software solution is not something that occurred to me.

Any idea for what might be wrong with the LCD hardware?

Ok desperate hope that you had pressed some buttons in error.
Did you mean the factory resets list?
In my long list of getting into SMs there is one headed RCA GE Proscan

As an FYI, that is an AWESOME list. But I already went through that and none of the "RCA GE Proscan" codes appear to work for my TV. I did try them again, but still not working.

Tried Menu 1147, not working.

The menu on the Television is also color inverted.
All images on the Television are color inverted, in retrospect I should have left the computer out of this.
If I use Red/White/Yellow plugs, or image from an antenna the colors are inverted.

Did you check the barcode labels on the Tcons - maybe the new one is faulty? can you return it.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for saying to check the barcode, the boards look identical so I completely didn't check. So I put the old one back in and colors look fine but the screen is "solarized", which was my original problem.

The new t-conn board, did fix the "solarized" problem, everything was perfect but the colors were inverted.

Spoke with www.wisiny.com and they said the board should be compatible, but I'm asking for a new one.

Let us know how it goes - I think maybe the AUO and US means they are for different
panels? AUO is certainly and panel manufacturer
