    panasonic TH-42PX80U 2 BLINK CODE?

    Anybody know what the 2 blink code is for this model? My buddy said he accidently stuck his atenna wire in the tv where the main board is so it started sparking. Never worked since. I took it apart but i dont see anywhere on the power supply to measurre the readings, theres no board markings 5v,12v, etc....

            SOS2 = 15V fault.

            Generally 15V fault tends to trigger 10 blinks first. 2 blinks can occur if 15V collapses after set runs.

            This is usually triggered by Vsus fault (shorted/low Vsus, or fault in thermal fuse detection block.) Check Vsus, if it rises then falls, or never rises at all, this can be indicative of this fault.

              No doubt would have seen a short via pin #1 so would of got him to pull the connectors one by one until it removes short.

              Done a few of these already Tom? lol

                Tom sorry but all that stuff I don't understand.... New to this should I unplug some connections until I get a voltage on that pin? Also being all my friend did was touch the attena to the main board by accident

                  Leave connections in place.

                  Set meter to 200 Ohms
                  Black Pin to chassis (Screw will do)
                  Red to Pin 1

                  What does meter read?

                    I had to set it to 2000 ohms and it says 940,

                                  I gave you info. Generally you're expected to have reasonable technical knowledge if you do a lot of TV's like yourself. So when I ask you to check VSUS, maybe do a little searching or look for the service manual before declaring that you can't do it.

                                    You should be looking around the area I had you zoom in on, You will see an adjuster pot there stating VSUS.... You want to find a test point for it
