Appears to have no power no lights come on etc. It slowly died over a few weeks it would take 5 mins to turn on but now nothing. Any ideas where to start? I can add pics/more info if needed thanks.

Pictures are ALWAYS needed for sure so we can see what we are dealing with and how all the boards are connected together.Never stop learning

Re: Phillips 26PF5321/10 dead
Can you also take the pictures that show the whole back side of the TV? I am trying to locate the backlights inverter board/s.
The fuse on the power supply board is OK?Last edited by budm; 03-24-2015, 11:38 AM.Never stop learning

Re: Phillips 26PF5321/10 dead
OK, it uses two inverter boards.
The white connector on the right of the power supply board that goes to the main board, are there any labels for the pins of the connector? We need to know if we have any standby voltages or not.
BTW, can you provide what is printed on the BARCODE sticker of the power supply board?Last edited by budm; 03-24-2015, 12:46 PM.Never stop learning

OK, I cannot find service manual for this chassis so you need to take straight shot pictures of the power supply board top and bottom sides so I can try tracing out the circuits.Never stop learning

Re: Phillips 26PF5321/10 dead
I have worked on the hotel version (26HF5321) of this set before. Mine had a blown fuse on the power board outputs, on the secondary side. I doubt that would cause your intermittent symptom but could cause the TV to act dead. Replacing the fuse fixed the issue. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Phillips 26PF5321/10 dead
There are two red rectangular box fuses by the connector, are they OK, just to be sure?
I am having hard time with the pictures trying to trace the board, will look at the SCH next.Last edited by budm; 03-28-2015, 10:47 AM.Never stop learning

I tried but I could not use your pictures to trace out the bottom side of the board, too much glares and they are not straight shot pictures and not well focused.Never stop learning

Re: Phillips 26PF5321/10 dead
The power supply for the 26" and 32" is made by other OEM so Philips does not provide the diagram in that service manual, they provide the power supply diagrams for the 37" and 42".Never stop learning

by mecha1166I am working on a QN750Q8FNBFXZA. Dead except the standby light. It blinks what appears to be 1 3 1 2. 1 long blink, pause, 3 short, pause, 1 long, pause, 2 short, pause, repeat. A service manual would be very helpful, or if anyone knows these error codes. Thanks!

by Asraf AtbHi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....1 Photo -
by mikey5791Hi all,
Got this HP AC adapter model HSTNN-CA15(output 19.5V, 3.33A) for HP laptop which suddenly died yesterday.
Opened the adapter casing and did not find any burning part, loose or broken wire but the square T3.15A fuse still has continuity.
I pulled out the biggest green resistor nearest to main cap at CX2. The resistor has 5 band which is red, red, gray, gold, white. Is this a 22.8 ohm 0.5w type resistor(lenght abt 1 cm)? Please correct me if i m wrong. It measured about 0.4 ohm on dmm, so it is bad. I have no exact replacement so i use a 30 ohm 2w from my stock but... -
by double_DDHi all,
As the title suggests, how can I be sure that my EC chip is really dead?
I've recently gotten into this hobby of laptop repairs, and have successfully brought back to life a couple with some easy fixes, mostly shorted caps.
Now I'm working on HP Probook 455 G8, that had some "devil" run around on 3V line, burning a bunch of stuff. Luckily I have a dead 455G7 (for spare parts) so I managed to fix it (swapped burned parts) to a point that it will charge (both on barrel jack and usb-c), but it doesn't want to turn on. There is a 3V3 on a keyboard... -
by mikey5791Hi all,
This model EXA082XA Asus ac adapter just died.
Opening the case, there is no burn mark or any damage component. Glass fuse still has continuity. Diodes and 2 transistor has not shorted. I just suspect a 8 pin ic label Chip Rail CR-LSN69 but unable to get any datasheet.
Does anyone know how to test this ic or any equivalent substitute such as TOP258PN can be used?
Any kind assistance and guidance is highly appreciated. Thank you.... - Loading...
