    Westinghouse-tx-42f430s

I got this LCD for free on CL. After doing the cap repair, it booted right up. I believe this is an LC switching power circuit .

Problem: I'm getting slightly dark, fixed, horizintal lines that are spaced unevenly throughout the screen. It's more apparent on lighter backgrounds.

I've tried different inputs (vga, hdmi, hdmi2). All the same.

Could this be because of a poorly done cap repair? If not what could cause this?

Can you take pictures of the problem? Could be a bad LCD panel...?

LG 47LN577 with black fading horizontal evenly spaced lines
      by Andriod
So, I have searched the internet for long, high and low and ended up here.

As the title suggests; there are static repeating black-ish horizontal lines that start from the left and fades away at around 65% toward the right, meaning its length is more than half the screen. The lines are from top to bottom evenly spaced. I can see the lines on the test image, and on chromecast input.

This is my first time investigating TV errors at this level, and my initial googling led me to believe it was the T-CON board, considering that it has a left-ish problem. But googling even...

Samsung 69" LED no power issue

I posted earlier regarding my Samsung 60DUN6420UF turning off after about 1 minute, during which the panel itself and led lighting are fine, with no devices connected of course there is a " no signal detected" on the screen along with another "no hdmi2 " icon.

Interestingly the tv turns itself on automatically once plugged in to an ac outlet after perhaps 15 = 20 seconds. After about 30 seconds the screen will evenly fluctuate, or more precisely the edge lit leds and then the on screen display will begin to bounce, some lines appear all over and then...

Samsung PN50B450B1D showing evenly spaced vertical lines
      by 205rogers
When I first turn my TV on, it works fine for a few minutes and then the attached vertical lines show up across the screen. If i turn it off and back on same thing, works for a few minutes then the lines come back.
I have read other posts about the T-con PWB. Not sure if thats the problem with mine or not. Hoping to get some advice. Thanks...
