Looking at this set and it has dark areas down both the left and right sides, Don't have an image unfortunately as dont have the set yet.

Could be anything without a picture. Dark areas? Can you see a picture showing in the affected areas?Did I leave the soldering iron on? -

I notice this LG 4K set has it just very slightly, but worse in the corners....TELEFIX

This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.
I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area.... -
Was watching this set, and suddenly it went dark. Picture is still visible, just very dark. Tried checking all settings, adjusting brightness to 100% no change. Reset through menus, no change.
bought used boards from ebay (power and input boards) replaced with same results, changing brightness does seem to have a slight affect.. but not to normal visibility of picture.
I'm handy, fixed TVs before.. I can't see any issues with boards... hoping someone can point me in the right direction to properly diagnose. I don't believe the LEDs are caput, since the picture is on and equal... -
Hi All,
I just got one Macbook 12" that was not powering on. I found out that the battery was flat on right side so I charged it little bit with power supply and the MacBook turns on.
Problems that I have when I connect everything I can see for second apple logo and it it dims down, then there is apple logo with progress bar also only for second and then dims down. I found that issue is with trackpad (probably keyboard part) as when I disconnect keyboard from trackpad MacBook boots up normally. I took off the black cover on keyboard I was expecting some water damage... -
Hi it looks like everything works don't know where to test except the 390v in the 2 capacitor in the hot side of the power supply and the weird 180v in the diodes in the cold side that should be discharged it is writin on the circuit no more you can read what is written on the circuit quite srrange color mixiing yellow and white
anyhow i couldn't t read anything else
the backlight is on strong and the screen does not get dark or very dark but no pictures
the mainborad feels a bit hott on the black part i test it to 52 degree's against 34 to 40 on the rest of it

Hello there i have a Sharp 80" LDC that has some dark spots in the middle of the screen, since its a 80 inch need another person so hang it on the wall or move it around, so i hope the collective wisdom can help me to determine what is wrong, I've been doing some research online and there is next to nothing about this TV, i tend to believe that the spots are due the back films/diffuser sheets, that are bit dirty, or perhaps one or two LEDs being burned, but what throws me off is that the dark spots are more noticeable when the image is bit dark like night scenes, and also noticeable when...06-13-2023, 12:02 PM
