Samsung growing small black line on screen

Hey there. I have a 2006 Samsung that I've owned since new. The caps went bad so I fixed that about 2 years ago. Now I am seeing a small black line on the screen that appears to be getting longer. I know this thing is old but I can't afford a new one right now. Any ideas?

It sounds like a bad LCD panel... but care to share a picture of the fault?

So I moved and finally pulled this thing out and here is the problem.

Lol a year later Also the foils in the Lcd are breaking down try applying pressure in that area.

Yeah I know. I bought a new house-renovated the old one for renting-Got a promotion at work-more hours of course-almost completely paid off all my debt-built a new kitchen in the new to me house and bang. Here I am again back to tinkering with this tv.
So I tried the pressure thing.
Not much happens but I can see color changing around the pressure point.
Line does not go away.

Pretty much....take a pic and part it on ebay proving boards good but panel fubar!

Maybe i will just keep it til it gets worse. I only use it in my bedroom and it puts me to sleep. Most of the time I don't notice it. I wouldn't get much for it anyway I suppose.
