LG 60PV400 Circuit check automatic shutdown

I have an LG 60PV400 that has a problem. Just started last week. I turned the TV off, then heard it clicking every few minutes, also the standby light would turn off, then on again. I hit the power button when the standby light was on, and it booted up just fine, picture was perfect so I shut it down. I unplugged it for a few hours then tried again, and when I plugged it in I can hear a click from the main power relay, the standby light comes on, then after about 5 seconds I hear another click, and no standby light.

Here is what I have done so far.
Disconnect all connectors from the power supply board, and measure all voltages. They all look good. Connect the Y-sus, and Z-sus plug it back in, and all voltages are OK. When I connect the Main board I get good voltages to it for the first five seconds then the error signal voltage goes quite high, and the relay switches off.

I repair medical electronics for a living, but I have never worked on a TV so I am hoping I can get some guidance as far as what to check next. I would hate to have to toss a 3 year old plasma when I can hopefully fit it.

Could you take clear focused pictures of all the boards please.

I'd see if test patterns display:

      (1) Disconnect the LVDS cable that goes from the logic control board to the main board.
      (2) Apply a jumper across the auto gen points on the logic control boards (paper clip is an OK jumper).
      (3) Plug in and turn on the TV.

Thanks for the advice. I should be able to take some pics tomorrow evening, and try to get that test pattern to display. Do you know off hand what pins I have to jumper to get the test pattern? I was not able to get a service manual downloaded.

Upload pictures first then we can go from there to show you the jumper points

Hopefully the pics show up. I disconnected the cable, but didn't disconnect the main board from the power supply, and the power relay clicked off before the screen could turn on. I have that power cable disconnected now, and I am going to give it 10 min then try again

With no power to the main board the patterns display perfect!! I am going to go out on a limb, and guess I need a new main board

Yes, it appears to be a main board problem. I'd make sure all cables are properly seated then verify the issue is reproducible before proceeding with a purchase.

I will check all the cables again, and look into a main board.

Thanks again for all the help!!!
