Samsung SMPS no standby question BN44-00514A (P60SW_CPN)

PN60E8000GF had click-click or totally dead = no standby.
Apply slight downward pressure on middle heat sink brings all voltages back.
Power supply appears to be slightly warped....dubious repair. Replace
the board for a solid, no recall repair ! Or remove all the glue blobs and attempt
    a less expensive as-is fix.

Can we see the pictures of your board? If you can put pressure on the board to make it function, then it sounds like you have bad connection/s.

I have done a number of these and the 64" versions. Always cold solder joints on qs804.
I have even had brand new boards from samsung come with bad solder joints on that location as well.

Samsung seem to have a lot of cold solder issues. I've seen a 32" LED Samsung (D-series) with cold solder on the bridge rectifier (symptom dead with no power.)

Soldered area as needed = fixed !
