HELP replacement or equivalent of this diode T2D 83

good morning colleagues , i need a urgent help, I am repairing a phillips lcd tv model 42PFL3603D/27 which don't turn on. I found a faulty diode in whose body is written as T2D 83 .this diode is in the power supply. Here is the part number of the power supply: Philips 272217100569 and the model of the power supply is 2300KEG031A-F. I tried to find this diode across the internet to see its specification and find an equivalent, but I haven't found anything, there is only a mention on the internet of this diode and say it is a zener. I tried to find the schematic of the power supply but I haven't found. The position of the diode on the power supply is: D106A. Hope you can help me find the specification and any equivalent for this diode T2D 83, because I'm taking a week try to find any information on this diode and i couldn't find anything. thank you very much. regards.

Re: HELP replacement or equivalent of this diode T2D 83

I'm curious about this myself. I am working on this model now and have used the shopjimmy kit to refurbish the power board. The backlights were shutting down apparently after reaching a temperature threshold. It could turn back on after a limited time. I looked at the power board and replaced 4 caps that were bulging, but it didn't do any good. I took the back off the tv and let it run and it never reached that temp threshold to turn off. And by turning off, the sound would still remain, but no picture. I decided to get the shopjimmy kit which included fuses, transistors, etc. It was about 44 pieces and I was only going to replace the transistors, resistor, diodes, etc that were easier to replace on the main side of the board. I wasn't going to actually replace any of the tiny SMD parts unless I actually had to. Those are a lot harder to replace because you could damage it taking it out and damage it putting it in, if you weren't sure it was bad in the first place. I did this and now I am blowing the main fuse. I checked everything over and I don't see any issues. I replaced the fuse again and blew it again. I see D106A seems a little charred on the lead, so I removed it. It appears charred on both ends of the leads. I tested and it is open both ways using diode check function and continuity test. I can't seem to find this diode anywhere. Does anyone know the equivalent to this diode? The numbers on it are slightly different-T2D81 and the 1 is underlined.

                Same thing here!!

where shall we find a new diode?

In another threat Tom said that it is the same as MUR440 diode.

I'd like to reopen this and see of anyone had luck finding the T2D replacement diode? I have this schematic I found, but I'm not sure what to believe as R104 is burned on my board, the bands shows it as a 204k reisistor, but the shematic says 100k. It also shows UF4007f or D106 where the T2D diode is. But it's D106A on the board..

So I'm confused here if anyone has sorted this out I'd appreciate the help!

Also can anyone help confirm the value of this resistor? According to the schematic if it should be 100k but this looks like 20k or 204k??

It's black. Does the band right of the yellow look gold? Does a 20.4 ohm resistor look right for this?

R104 in your board revision is 200K, it is part of RCD snubber network.

And UF4007 for the diode D106A?

BTW, the picture of your board does not match with the diagram.
May be you should show the pictures of your board.

Is this the EXACT matched to your board?
                                  https://www.shopjimmy.com/philips-27...pply-unit.htm#
Based on the picturees from shopjimmy:
R104 is not for the snubber, it is for input Voltage Start of SMPS IC pin 8.
D106A is the snubber diode connected in parallel with the primary winding for the SMPS transformer.
The circuit you shown uses RCD snubber, but the board from shopjimmy does not use RCD snubber, it uses diode snubber only, I.E. T2D 83.
                                  Is R104 tested bad?

R104 is burned. I figured this was a common issue as the person above was trying to find a replacement for D106A as well. Let me know if pics are good enough, thank you.

R104 is open and U101 burned too.

Did you lift one leg of R104 off the board and check the resistance? It will take very high Voltage to burn up that 200K resistor and pin 8 of the IC has to also be shorted to ground.
Did you test D106a off the board? It should show open circuit.

Well I was way off. You are right, resistor shows 197k ohms and D106a shows open.
I just assumed when I saw the burn marks.

For U101 looks like pin 7 Drain burned up. Is it possible it's just U101 that's bad?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I have a klipsch kda-500 that would turn on and allow me to get into the web management but it was picking up a lot of noise from audio sources so i decided to replace the smd caps on the power supply along with radial one. Some one was in here before me and they basically burned the bottom side of the traces off for the radial cap but i was able to repair it without any real problem. I thought i did a good job sourcing out replacement caps but apparently not and now i can't get the power supply to turn on it just constantly try's to keep turning on. Attached is a picture of the power supply before...

                                          Hello guys,

I would like a quite old but still good 800 W ATX PSU to be repaired. The problem was an extremely heavy coil whine coming from the small secondary transfomer on the PCB.

I desoldered it hoping the references on the upper side would allow me to find a adequate replacement part. Sadly the written references drove me nowhere but to the manufacturer (I-MAG). I sent them a message like a bottle in the see asking them to send me a datasheet of the transformer. And... They responded ! I received a kind of datasheet (see attachment) but my competencies do not allow...

Sony XBR-65X850E power supply board diode replacement
                                          by Tnmg
I have a Sony XBR-65X850E that when plugged in buzzes for a few seconds about 5-7 times but the screen never comes on. It looks like one of the four diodes on the main power supply board are bad. I'd like to replace all four at the same time. The diodes that are bad are the D750, D751, D752 and D753. The S750 looks discolored and fails the diode test on the board. It hasn't been removed from the board yet for testing.

Are all four of these the same diode? I saw a video that called the discolored one a Schottky 5150 diode. How can I make sure to get the right diodes for these?...
