    philips 42PFP5332D/37

    hello there
I recently came by a philips 42PFP5332D/37 plasma TV when I took the back
off I discovered that someone had removed the power board and the
interconnect board so I don't have any part numbers for these 2 boards

Is there a wiring harness between these boards

Is there somewhere I can get a picture of what is supposed to be in the upper
half of the TV so that I could replace what is missing.

As far as I can see the main board the sustain boards are intact
as well as all the boards under the metal housing.

If someone could help me find the information I need
I would like to rebuild the set and keep it from the landfill

Here is the part number for the Power Supply board for models with YA1A serial number: 996500042146

for models with serial number YA1C: 996510010206

Here are some pictures of the Power Supply installed in the TV: (not sure if exactly as yours, but hopefully.

I would suggest before you spend any money on it you thoroughly check the panel.
If someone removes boards and discards a tv it is often because of a panel fault.
Odd if they left in the Ysus zsuz and buffers unless they knew they were bad
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Philips 65PUS8518/12 distorted image after main board replacement
        by tuner2000i
        hello everyone,

I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
        • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
        • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

        Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Philips 70PUS7855/12 bad colors when applying the tape fix on teh T-con board
        by silikon77
        Hi!
Got an 70 inch Philips tv model 70pus7855/12 from scraps and I decidet to give it a go. I'm an enthusiast but no porfessional in the electronics.
Found some advices watching youtube nad came up with this:
It came with no picture, after diagnosing it I found out that the right side of the T.con board was faulty.
I taped down the clock signals and I got a picture but the left side of the panel has less pronounced colours. Only the right 3rd side of the panel has good colors.
        See attached picture.

I tried a few combinations to block individual clock...
