I was wondering what the typical LED backlight current is.
Has anybody measured it?
I have a 32" RCA TV where it was designed to run at 350mA.

Thanks. I lowered it from 350mA to just above 100mA and can't see a difference. No idea why they drive them so hard.Comment

Max brightness. Human visual perception is logarithmic. Doubling current approx doubles luminous flux. But you need almost 10x as much flux to perceive double the light.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
