    Another Samsung: HP-S4 25 plasma - Clicks

Apparently this is a common problem, but I can't seem to find any guides that follow through to a solution. Any help will be appreciated.

Problem: won't turn on. Relay clicks over and over.

I opened the sucker up, but I couldn't find any problems visually. No burns, cracked boards, or melted pieces. No swollen caps or leakages. So I did the voltage test.

My readings for Va, Vsc, Vs, Ve, and Vset all check out. As well as the D5.3V and STB-5V pins. All voltages are good.

I saw a post on this website that says to check the PS-ON pin for fluctuations. Ah-ha! We have a winner! This pin fluctuates as the tv goes through the relay cycle.

Im still not sure what the source of the problem is, nor how to fix it. I have soldering experience so that wouldn't be an issue.

    Any advice?
    Thanks

Main board. Something might be pulling it down after it starts up.

Pull the pson pin from the connector and meter it. Does it still fluctuate ? If not problem is on PS

I tested the pin and it still fluctuates. Note: the fluctuation occurs when the clicking happens.

          What else can I try?

I've tried testing the y and z sustain by unplugging them and turning on the tv.

The only thing I notice is when I unplug the z sustain, I get a split second of red blue and green pixels, and then a black screen. When I unplug the y sustain, I don't get these pixels, only a black screen.

Edit: just noticed the thread title has the wrong model. The correct one is Samsung HP-S4253. For some reason I can't edit the original post.
