Just thought I would post this on what I found. Two caps on inverter board slightly bulged and leaking. They were 680uf 35v. They read only 118uf after removal. All I could find today was 680uf 50v in town. Slightly bigger diameter but still had plenty of room with shield installed.

I posted wrong TV model. It was actually model# VW37L. Got too many TV's. I am Just now looking to try and decipher the brand. Can't make it out. If my ESR meter is correct it read 0.2 on the board. Here is a pic of the caps.Attached FilesComment

Another bad SAMWA cap, and yes I mean the new caps, the general purpose cap will not have high ripple current rating either to be used in this inverter circuit.Never stop learning

I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the Intel® Iris® Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".
It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...07-31-2025, 08:37 PM -

This device came in due to the screen flickering if you use the touchpad or external mouse. It will flicker black when this occurs. If you use the touchscreen, the behavior does not appear.
