Yes check those out . unplug them all and put probes in the sockets of the transformers. They should all be I think 10% of each other.

Don't waste a lot of time and money on it. They are crap TVs.

I believe he is talking about the standby LED staying on. Post 1&12 says nothing about back light staying on.

All you can try to do is taking the main board and that other board on the bottom out of the game, rig the main power supply and the inverter up to force the power supply and the backlight on and see what happens. Problem is that the boards have cables coming out of everywhere and hard to see what is what. Next problem is even if you could figure it out the flat band ribbon are so damn small not funny. Not sure if I like to play around too much, when 360V DC are on the inverter board. I just fixed one that had a blown power supply. What a piece of junk design and I thought that one I had here was bad.

Tested all the hv windings like in the picture all of them were .3 ohms.

                    Re: emerson 32" lc320em1

If I remove this cable and this cable only the power will come on and the green light stays on. But without this cable the screen will not come on at all. Soon as I plug it in the tv will shut off and the red standby light comes on.

Are you saying at any point the panel ( the screen not the led) lights up and stays on for more than a few seconds.

"Tested all the hv windings like in the picture all of them were .3 ohms." That does not look right, 0.3 Ohms or 0.3K Ohms, or 0.3M Ohms?

Check the resistance readings of the 3 MOSFET's pin combination:
                          1 & 2,
                          1 & 3
                          2 & 3

                          BTW, board is on;y $20.

The screen will only come on for about 2 seconds. If I used the remote to turn it on and hold the volume - or + down it stays on about 4 or 5 sec and you can see the volume bar then it will shut off

We just need to establish for sure how long the back light /screen stays on.
                                        In post 12 you say
If I disconnect a ribbon cable between the power supply and the video board it will turn on and stay on but no picture. That's the only wire I remove and it works without picture

What will stay on? and how long for?
