Toshiba 50L5200U LED won't turn on

Hi to all I need some assistance, the TV shows no sign of turning on from the control panel or TV remote, I tried testing the power board it shows 5v, 11.8v that I think should be 12v according to the board markings the PW on shows 3.3 and the LED power connector shows 24v. If someone has a service manual that would be helpful. I welcome any advise thank you

Try disconnecting the main board and see if the tv will turn on. Are there any signs of life, as in clicking noises, led lighting up etc.?

did you try disconnecting the cable/connector marked bl-on from mainboard and power supply, to see if the backlights come on?

What DC voltage do you have on BLON pin?
            There are two 12V outputs: 12VCC, 12VA
Are you getting 12V on both of them?

Hi again i removed the BLON connector and nothing happened so I then removed the BLON wire from the connectors and connected them and nothing happened. The BLON pin shows a voltage of 0.3v.

Re: Toshiba 50L5200U LED won't turn on

I have the 46" model right now (46L5200U), but it has a different symptom. It starts to come on and work, but suddenly loses the backlight after a couple of seconds. The 24v from the PSU to the LED driver board remains, but the voltage going into the LED arrays drops when this happens. I don't see any uneven or dark areas. Am I safe to assume that replacing the LED drive board might work? The guy's pictures above don't show the LED driver module, but it's just a board to the left of the PSU that feeds the arrays and gets several feeds of 24v from the PSU. I can post a picture if it will help.
