Hi all,

I know this is old post, but still, if any one finds it like i did, i found the issue (not the solution yet).

I have a UE48H6200 with the same issue, sound no image no backlight, Cause? Short in the rigth panel board (i dont know the name, the one between the tcon and the panel).

If i connect one flat cable from the tcon to the panel at a time i get backilight but no image, when i connect both, no backlight at all.

Measuring the componentes i found on the right board some ceramic capacitors shorted, gnd to 2 lines in each buffer line.

Dont know if its one buffer shorted or a cap going short.
Probably will try to inject 1V to both sides of one of the caps and see if anything heats up, but im inclined to be a buffer line gone bad...

So sad, great tv, what a waste. Ill post if i find out any solution other then new panel.

One shorted mlcc cap can make the ones next to it read short too, maybe take the first one in the row that reads short out and check it out of circuit, recheck the others see if they still read short, lots of times it's only one bad cap, video example there, I've seen others too, this is the one I found in English: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLd6QO7Z7m4
