Samasung Plasma - PN50B550T2FXZA Horizontal Black Lines Forming

Hi,
I started getting these (1 pixle thick, I think) lines appearing on the screen of my plasma TV. It started with one and they have been multiplying since the first one appeared. I've gone online an searched for fixes. I've already switched out the following boards and the problem still remains:

Y-Main board (LJ92-01611A)
Y-Buffer board (BN96-09745A)

Any ideas what the try next? Should I replace the main board (BN96-12139A)?
We had a power surge a while back and these lines started occurring shortly after. Also I've noticed on the main board not all the HDMI ports work correctly anymore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

550's are known for this failure. either you got a bad Ybuffer or your panel has failed.

Mainboard will not fix this unfortunately.

Well I already replaced the Y Buffer and that did not resolve the problem. Is there another name for the panel? Is this a part I can buy online?

Nope. The panel is the screen itself and attempting to replace that will set you back more than if you strolled into a store and bought a whole new tv.

Unfortunate but that is where you're at.

Well I guess it's time for a new TV. I thought I could salvage it but that's just not cost effective. Thanks
