Should I buy the kit to replace every board? I was trying to get out of spending 200 but their new boards. Does that sound like something worth doing ?

I also noticed there are 2 wires that have the same plug on them that run to the led driver from the power supply. Where can I find out if they are plugged in the right spot. I got the tv with no history. I have wondered the whole time if they have been crossed some how.

0.38VDC? If that is the case, the main board is not sending the Voltage to run the T-CON board.
This is not going to be cheap to fix, I wonder if this TV was hit by surge or lighting.

I was wondering the same thing. That is why I keep asking if I should spend the 200 for the boards. And be done with it.

I would not spend $200 on this one.

Why that would be every board. And im pretty sure I can return it if it doesn't workout. Should we dig deeper?

It is a big gamble, do you know if the screen is not cracked? If I will buy the boards I would get them from shopjimmy, they are reliable and have good return policy.
One thing I know about TV with LED backlights, the LED tends to go bad, if you search the site about LED backlights TV you will see lots of people have problem with bad LEDs.

I found a open fuse on the led driver board. The one circled 24 coming in 0.03 going out. The rest are 24 all the way threw.

Oh and both of them meters I had were no good I believe. I did grab a new one today so. So I should probably go back and check the ic on the main plus the small 1117 chips.

I only trust shopjimmy, he is the place I go to after running into too many bad boards on Ebay, I bought parts from shopjimmy since when he first started the business, then Itried EBAY for cheaper price but it was not worth the troubles.
So the the LED driver board also has blown fuse! not a good sign for this TV.

If you can get the 65" to run for $200 then it may not be too bad.

Check that link and tell me what you think. I understand about ebay. I only use them if shop Jimmy doesn't have what I need.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                            Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
