Picked up this TV today and thought it may be a loose connection but that is not it. Can someone tell if it is the screen itsself that is bad?

Re: Panasonic 46RV525U Screen issues
I've seen this before with Toshiba. Its a bad SMD connection on one of the surface mount components on the top boards behind the metal frame where the ribbon cables go into the panel. the problem would be associated on the left side board.Did I leave the soldering iron on?Comment

Re: Panasonic 46RV525U Screen issues
quite possibly first try lightly tapping on the components on that long board that spans half way across the top of the screen on that side and see if the picture comes back momentarily.
be careful not to run it too long as you will overheat the driver ic's. just do it long enough to see if the picture straightens outDid I leave the soldering iron on?Comment

Re: Panasonic 46RV525U Screen issues
I want to ask before I take it all back apart if there is a possibility that the problem might be the T Con board? What is the chance that it may be?Comment

by jkrunsHello everyone,
This is my first post after browsing this wonderful treasure trove of knowledge for many, many evenings. I've decided to learn how to fix these things, properly.
My patient is an A2338 Macbook Pro M1 (late 2020).
It had some corrosion around JT710 and JT700 caused by liquid spill, as well as against the protective barrier around the USB-C chips UF000 and UF100. So I took the main board out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and alcohol, then with alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned the touchbar flex connectors as well. The board looks... -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by ChrissygizmoHi all, I’ve got a problem I hope someone can help me fixi.
I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...01-11-2025, 03:18 PM -
by AlicatHello,
Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.
Model number is TH-50PZ85U
Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.
Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.
I also hear a few clicks.
I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.
Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...10-30-2024, 10:09 AM -
by aazjoI have a MBP A1502 (early 2015, 820-4924) with a screen that will not turn on. I have swapped screens with a cracked test screen and the computer boots and the cracked screen works for both backlight and image. The black/blank screen appears to do nothing.
I have collected resistant data from the cracked screen connector pins and submitted to OBData server:
