LN32D450G1DXZA white screen slowly appears after turning on

Hi.

I just picked up a Samsung LN32D450G1DXZA. When I turn it on, the screen is initially blank and slowly comes on and turns white with random lines,etc. It takes a couple minutes to turn all white, or at least close to all white. I have yet to produce sound out of it.

Has anyone encountered this before? I have not run across this before.

A good chance that the LCD panel is defective on this one, I'm afraid. What you're describing is exactly what many panels do when failed. Sorry.
