Sceptre x42gv-komodo strange colors

Hello everyone. I have had this 42 sceptre for quite a while and never have had a problem. About a month ago sometimes a certain color would look slightly inverted or almost neon and then stop. Just the other day I turned it on and now it's non stop crazy colors.

I have tried finding a way into the service menu on this set without luck.

Based on web research, I have found other people with similar problems and they ended up replacing the main or tcon board with good results.

I unscrewed the back and reseated all the connectors on the boards without any luck, including the tcon ribbons. I also wiggled connectors with the set on and noticed no change in the picture.

I don't want to throw boards at it and need help determining where to go next.

The main board is numbered DDM42_V7
The tcon board is numbered T420XW01 V4

Pictures are not really clear enough for troubleshooting - I cant read the print on the
tcon to advise you where to test - I can make out 2 banks of test points and they are most likely labelled.
Just as an aside If that is yellow glue that that is going hard and brown on the power supply you need to remove it all as it is corrosive and becomes conductive.

Took some measurements on the tcon vgama points
1-22: 15.46, 15.25, 13.14, 12.06, 11.04, 10.79, 10.33, 10.01, 9.74, 8.45, 8.24, 6.55, 6.40, 8.31, 10.68, 6.37, 4.06, 3.52, 3.03, 2.60, 11.35, 0.35

Having some computer problems with the excel spreadsheet but from the reading I've done these numbers do not look good.

Well you don't need a whole new t-con if you can SMD soldier, but if you are not good or don't know anyone who is then yeah tis your only option.

Thanks selldoor! Yes that is dried yellow glue in a few places. I will work on that. Unfortunately my solder background only consists of automotive/marine work and resoldering a heavy gauge wire back on my hot tub board. I think I will practice on some old motherboards pretty soon.
