    Sony Bravia 46XBR4 FIXED tab bond, now what is this?

    I just recently repaired this set by placing not a bumper stop, but thermal pad from another gutted set between the metal frame and ribbon connector like has been suggested.

    I could manipulate the heck out of the picture playing with that connector before I buttoned it up, screen would go dark on the right side, then flicker, then the whole thing would go nuts.

    Now I'm left with just this green, vertical line that looks like it disappears between sources but I can't tell if its just hiding in the blackness.

          Well I guess this flavor cannot be solved by the spacer then. At least it got rid of the dark in this side of the screen and the flickering.

              I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
              I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
              I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
              The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
              My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...

              i have this sony bravia kdl-43w755c which boot loops. After sony logo, it shows the android animation loading then it restarts…
              from what i read online it looks to be an emmc issue…
              i’m not familiar with this kind of tv repairs… i’m repairing laptops and gpu’s…
              i took out the board and say an samsung 16gb emmc
              i don’t have an exact replacement, but i have a few 32 and 64gb emms’s from laptops…
              i could try to put one instead of the 16gb one, but will it work?
              where do i get the software from?
              any help will be much appreciated!...

              Greetings everyone.
              I also have Sony Bravia, model:
              Sony Bravia KD43XF7596BAEP - Android.

              What happend is that image dissapeared while we were watching tv.

              Diagnostics:
              1. TV turns on, no errors
              2. Backlight turs on, no errors
              3. Power indicator turns on, white color, no errors
              4. Menu works on android, you can hear sound while switching channels
              5. Volume up and down works via TV remote and via buttons
              6. Tunner works, HEVC / MPEG-4 decoder works
              7. I get audio from channels
              8. No picture is present,...

              Sony Bravia KD-50X690E NO SOUND

              Finally got my KD-50X690E up and running after replacing the power supply. Upon testing it I noticed the lack of sound from the speakers. At first I just ignored it thinking it was set to external speakers or some other kind of audio setting. However, after actually going into settings and looking around I see nothing of this sort. I looked it up on Google and apparently a lot of people have disappearing audio on a variety of Sony TVs 🙄. I'm going to see if a firmware or software update will resolve it, if available.

              Has anyone else had this happen to their tv?
