Hi everbody,
I have a problem with a Samsung LE37A659A1F, similar to https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37809.
When I turn it on, the LED blinks five times. The backlight does not fire up, but there is sound.
I suspect the inverter board (Logah VIT70037.50) to be defective: Fuse F1 was blown and replaced, and a pad from one of the transformers was loose and disconnected, so I just soldered it to the plug (see image below).
The measurement on CNM 803 from the power supply (BN44-00216A) to the inverter board is as follows.
24V on pins 1-5
A/D - 3.5V
B/L - 5.1 V
ON-OFF - 0V
The latter should be 5V I think. Would the ON-OFF signal be generated by the linear regulator below the fuse F1?
What would be a good approach to find out what's the problem here?
