Samsung PN51F5300AFXZA Vertical Line

Hi and thanks for any possible help. My PN51F5300AFXZA just developed a thin vertical line from top to bottom near the left side of the screen. The line seems to have some color to it and it's most noticeable when the screen is bright. The TV is only 15 or 16 months old.

Any ideas?

check their LVDS Cable & PFC Cable if they are ok.

Bad plasma panel I'm afraid. This won't be fixable. (Without replacing whole screen.) It is rare but does sometimes happen.

However since your TV is so new I'd try escalating to samsung ECR - it may take some effort but people have had luck before getting samsung to fix out of warranty (in your case it will be replaced)

Or if you paid with a credit card check if they extend warrantiea by 3-12 months - some will.
