Hi All
I have a 40" Sony Bravia TV & Blueray KDL-40EX43B. During its life it didn't really get used much (max twice a week) so it was a bit of a surprise when one day it didn't turn on.
The story so far, at first a DVD got stuck in the drive and every time I tired to turn the TV on the green light came on but no picture or sound, not even a boot logo or backlight. After turning it on and off a number of times I managed to get the DVD to eject and the screen turned on. Then after that time it has never booted again.
So after checking the voltages on the power board I tried jumping the STBY3.3V pin with the POWER ON pin on the CN6401 connector and the backlight turned on. So I thought it was the main AV board (BU board I think its known as) so I changed it and now I am getting 3 flashes on the red power light. I have tried disconnected everything and plugging in things one by one but nothing helps.
I have attached a word document with all the voltage readings from the power board.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, George.
