Samsung QN75Q90TAF (Q90T) with single vertical line and horizontal lines bottom of screen

Have a Samsung Q90T that has a single thin vertical line on left side. (See pictures)

When I apply light pressure at the bottom of screen along line, more vertical lines appear then disappear.

Also along the bottom of screen is about an inch of horizontal lines.

Before I tear it apart, and start inspecting driver boards, tab bonds and the Tcon, first wanted to see what the community thinks. Is it a shorted led and thus a bad panel anyways?

    The picture is amazing otherwise.

Would a single black line be a bad pixel or potentially something else?

Thanks. If you don’t think it’s a bad LED I’ll put effort into other potential issues as I research, thx

Line up and down bad cof connection?

          Lines across, bad panel?

I wouldn't waste my time unless for fun. I have seen some videos try and undo a cof tab and solder it back on and it did actually work. Don't think I would be able to accomplish that but Ive considered trying.

Interested if you do manage to accomplish something

Detachement of tab pins is only a myth, but the problem is still in the tab, or call it fpc.. i cannot say more ..

Thanks gents, super helpful. I was going down a rabbit hole on cof and will keep going.

The picture on this tv is great, tempting to leave it, but just as tempting to get it right. Thx

LG 55UC970V-ZA: vertical bands/lines appear after ~2 seconds, then clear, repeating
                by jmartins
                Hi all,
I have an LG 55UC970V-ZA (around 10 years old). The picture is normal right after power-on, but after ~2 seconds vertical bands/lines appear across the screen. Then it clears again, and the issue repeats in a cycle (roughly every 2 seconds).

                Symptom (repeatable):
                - After power-on, the picture is normal for about ~2 seconds.
                - Then vertical bands/lines appear across much of the screen.
                - It happens on everything, including the LG boot logo and the TV’s own menus/OSD, built-in apps, and all HDMI inputs.
                - Power-cycling (unplugged...

                Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

Can anyone tell if this is a fake TV screen overlay (e.g YouTube) to make it look damaged?
                by Smallen
I hired an apartment which I did not stay in as it was not as described (not enough beds), they refused to refund, even though I had to pay for another accommodation. After I left bad reviews, the owner got hostile and is refusing to refund me and is also keeping my deposit of £250 as he said we broke the TV (we didn't) he sent this photo as proof. I checked with Gemini Pro 3 and it thinks it's fake (a screen overlay), I'm trying to get a human viewpoint as do not fully trust AI, but I did not break anything so I'm being scammed. Can. Anyone help or confirm if below is accurate? Thanks
