Samsung UE65KU6400UXXU Should it have Blue LEDs

    Samsung UE65KU6400UXXU
    Power Supply Board - BN44-00073A (LPF5G-6LM)
    Main board BN94-10777A
TV was only showing faint picture at the left and right edges with nothing in the middle.
Took the TV appart and found that the plastic defuser sheet was cracked and burnt on the left and right edges. The LED strips are on the left and right edges. I managed to get a scrap TV with the same size defuser sheet in good condition. The LEDs were blue, all the TVs I've done before have white LEDs so I thought I needed new ones. I ordered some new ones from Aliexpress and they were blue. I just wanted to check if they should be blue before I rebuild the TV.

In some models the LEDs are blue, these panels always have an additional yellow colored sheet between the diffuser and panel.

        T-CON BOARD 65T41-C09 T650QVR01.0
        Screen CY-XJ065FLAV1H

Put the TV back together and now it has sound but no picture. Removing one of the connecter ribons gave me 3/4 picture but after reconnecting it, I just get a stipy screen. Shoud the t-con board have 4 blue lights?. I can only find a replacement T-CON BOARD 65T41-C03 T650QVR01.0 anyone know if this would work?.

Likely the panel got damaged. If screen was working and dim, then you replaced LEDs and this is results I would bet panel was hurt
