Hello I got a lg 55 nano. I did change backlight and diffuser but when I re install the panel o got vertical bar. What could be happen?

You tell us, the picture is blurry. But that's where the damage would be roughly, it would of been close to cof cableComment

In my case, I had tightened the panel too hard. Try to relax the panel a little and try again (assuming nothing is damaged).Comment

Problem
This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached.... -
Hi all,
I have an LG 55UC970V-ZA (around 10 years old). The picture is normal right after power-on, but after ~2 seconds vertical bands/lines appear across the screen. Then it clears again, and the issue repeats in a cycle (roughly every 2 seconds).
Symptom (repeatable):
- After power-on, the picture is normal for about ~2 seconds.
- Then vertical bands/lines appear across much of the screen.
- It happens on everything, including the LG boot logo and the TVâs own menus/OSD, built-in apps, and all HDMI inputs.
