Hi there i have a Sony KD-55x9500G that is stuck in bootloop. Main board number is 1-984-326-21. I managed to purchase a dump file for a KD-55xg9505 with exactly the same mboard number. I flashed the emmc and fitted it on the board, but only have sound and backlight, but no picture. Do you think this file os compatible eventhough the model no is different, but panel and mboard is the same

Try disconnecting the LVDS cable from the T-CON and turning it on. The motherboard will lose the T-CON and panel and should display error 5. Then disconnect the TV, reconnect it, and turn on the TV. It should enter update mode and then insert the USB with the update... -
Hello, My Sony KD-55X8000G TV is stuck on the Sony logo. I tried disconnecting LVDS and turning it on again, but the TV only showed a white LED (not blinking) and nothing else. Then, I reconnected LVDS, and it still only showed a white LED with the Sony logo. It seems it's not entering update mode. When I used a USB drive and named the firmware file upgrade_loader.pkg, the TV displayed "Updating..."(Sample image attached) but after about a quarter of the process, it restarted and got stuck on the Sony logo.

by dkneyleDiagnosed this TV as having a failed main board which I've replaced with one from a KDL 55HX850. They are (supposedly) the same board.
Being 'Smart TV' it requires a firmware reboot when you swap out boards such as T-Con or main board. It starts with a black screen and flashing yellow and green LEDS, indicating it needs that firmware boot. The procedure described all over the web is to put the software into the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive and it should load that up once plugged into USB1 port. But not for me. I can see the LED on the USB chip flash for about... -
by RobertH6I have a Sony XBR-65X930 that went dark, it would not do anything. I ordered a A2094331A board (identical number as the original control board in the TV) and now the green power LED illuminates and the TV makes confirmation tones when I press remote buttons and the Red light in the audio fiber optic jack also now illuminates. I still have a dark screen and feel confident that the firmware requires updating. Of course Sony has taken the firmware updates off their web site for this TV. Where might I find a firmware update?

by jrbrassowHello all,
I am attempting to convert an 86-inch commercial display, manufactured by TPV, back into a standard, fully functional TV/monitor. The display is currently running corporate/embedded firmware that prevents standard operation.
The primary goal is to find the original or a compatible "public" (non-corporate) firmware file to flash the mainboard and restore normal HDMI input functionality. 1. Display Identification & Hardware Details- Suspected Origin: TPV / Philips Professional Q-Line or P-Line series.
- Panel HWID (from Windows): MONITOR\MGF86
