I'm having a problem with my VIZIO SV422XVT 42-Inch Series 240Hz TV.
Whenever it is unplugged or looses power it won't turn back on. The Vizio logo flashes orange/white and the power button is unresponceive. There are no visable problems on either side of the boards or any swollen caps.
I've tried the power button reset which worked once but never again. I continued trying to turn it on periodically by unpluging and replugging and that too worked a couple times. I have replaced the power board on a guess. That didn't help but for some reason I was able to turn the TV on about three days later. So my question is by what kind of magic does this TV operate? I can't figure out what allows it to finally turn on.
I bought a UPS for it so if I can get it to come on once more I will hopefully never have the problem again.
