Hey TW--
I followed the schematic that you sent me, and it appears the problem is the A board--I followed through the process and did not get any life out of the TV.
My resistance checks were coming in at 180-190 ohms, which I think is more normal. My A board is a TNPH0914 2A rev AT--You mentioned that you might have an inexpensive source ? Thanks for your help--
I checked SC2, P2 and P11--it would flash the number for a second, and then revert to a "1" at the far left side of the screen. My board says 2 A--does that matter, or is it more important to confirm rev AT ?

If it showed a value and then 1, out of range for your meter so i would need to know what range but you need a meter that can go more than 3 meg.
So sounds promising, no short, could still have failed transistors.
TNPH0914AT, ignore the 2A.
Just say you need a TNPH0914AT, the listing says that but states 50" model. explain that At is 60", you have a 60" and need them to confirm it is rev AT. If it is then laughing. If it fixes it, and this is a keeper, for $34 I'd invest in another as a spare.
I left a message on their chatline yesterday but no response. i don't know what the issue is but they reply to my emails normally.
You can do the legwork and make the final decision, he's pretty obliging.
I keep a full suite of boards for my Tv, taken 2 years to come across it here and already i'm being told SC board no longer available. I have 2010 model.
I have the exact same issue as hokie1027, but when I measure the voltage at P6 pin 6, I get 10 volts and it is clearly labeled that it should be 5v on the board. I tried to unplug the A1 just to see what would happen and did not get any clicks. Any Suggestions?
You can't use 50" A board in 60" set. The drive waveforms are different (picture will be poor), unless it uses a separate D board like the VT25s. You could however swap the flash/EEPROM afterwards to convert the 50" board into the 60" version but that is a difficult solder job.
Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Hi. I have installed Main board TNPH0914AS from a TCP50GT30 into TCP60S30 Panasonic Tv and my tv turns on normally, it shows picture but colors are super distorted and pixelated.
Do you guys think that I get a distorted picture because main board is not exactly the same or maybe I have another problem (SC, SS)?
I ordered the correct board TNPH0914AT and now the tv only makes a click and blinks 6 times.
I'm trying to determine if I received a defective board or If I have another problem. Confused.

The GT30 does not have a TNPH0914AS but a 50S30 does.
Thank you tw2005 for the quick response. You are right, the board came from a TCP50S30.
Original problem is a DEAD TV. No lights blinking at front, no clicking. With the 50" A Board the tv turns on shows a very distorted a pixelated picture, and with the new/used correct 60" A board (TNPH0914AT) tv clicks once and light at front starts blinking 6 times.

I believe that new/used board must be defective.
Any thoughts?
yeah, lots. Going on the original symptoms I would have made the big assumption of shorted SC board. If Vsus is shorted it can produce those symptoms and it's a very common fault.
Also common issue is loose board mounting bolts which also earth the boards. That can also cause arcing and picture distortions too and then the SC eventually blows.
What's doing my head a little is you managed to get the TV to run with the 50" distorted which could be loose sc or simply the fact the wrong board was used, and now with a new 60" A board it 6 blinks.
So we have, locked LED no clicks, on and distorted with the 50", 6 blinking with the new 60"
Not sure which way to go with this one. First thing I'd do is check all those bolts and make them secure.
check all cables and ribbons are connected, smetimes things get missed.
If they were then ,
Disconnect the SC2 connector and measure the resistance or check for short across those 2 pins.
If nothing unusual
Install the original A board back in, disconnect SC2/P2, SC20/A20, SS11/P11
turn the TV on, if there is activity and it now produces a blink code then that A board may be ok. If it's still dead, no relay clicks then somehow you'll need to prove the new board is triggering a 6 blink which normally would be a bad SC board.
