Greetings, all, first post. I found my way here trying to find a replacement board for my LG 60PZ550. This TV is only three years old and hopefully can be salvaged.
About a week ago, upon turning it on, the familiar click of a relay could be heard, and the, umm, "TV is off" LED went out (in this particular TV the LED is on when the TV is off
). The screen "glows", like it does when it hasn't "hooked up" with whatever source it's using, but that is all. No sound, no picture, and the TV only responds to commands from the remote (or on the front of the TV) by blinking the LED a few times.
So here's my question: A replacement main board (an assembly of several boards, from what I can tell) is available on ebay for $90. For those of you who possess functioning crystal balls, do you think this is likely to resurrect the TV? My crystal ball is all cloudy, like my TV
