Looking back I think I should have gone for the official Vizio fix because the EBay board doesn't let me run the Netflix app. Apparently this EBay board was previously used and registered by someone else and I couldn't convince the Vizio to update their database because the serial number was in use by someone else in their database.
Some have suggested on redoing the flash memory which is ~$40. Can Vizio give a new board for $80 because in that case I may just do that? No boards are presently on Ebay.

Yes, I was aware of that and had tried that too. However, the Netflix and other apps such as Amazon Instant Video keep giving the error "Cannot connect". I could never work around that. Any suggestions? BTW, I have verified that the internet settings are correct.

I was connecting using the WiFi. The WiFi connection had no problems at all. The diagnostics and rest of the stuff was completely ok. I also confirmed that using the wired network connection.

I see this is an older thread but I need a main board, too- finding the exact board from my tv is proving impossible are there any others out there that would be compatible?

Can someone tell me which pins on the power supply connector need to be connected in order to force the ps on to test all the voltages? On a E422VA power supply with the main board disconnected.

We need the pictures of YOUR power supply board, the P/N on the board and on the barcode sticker also. There are many version of the board so we want to make sure we get the correct pins.
BTW, you should get a couple 470 ~ 1000 Ohms resistors for doing the test, and you will have to disconnect the cable form the power supply board to the main board first before doing the test.
