55EC930V - ZA Clicking Sound only

    Hi,

I have this OLED in standby. With remote or local button it tries to start, relay clicks but switches off again immediately. I have noticed 24V dc out missing . But this was due to a missing signal from the mainboard at DRV-ON signal. If I apply 3.5 volts 24v is on but same result. Have disconnected TCON cables one by one but still same issue.
Is there any mainboard reset procedure or testing please as am new to this model.
    Tks!

      Hi,
I have uploaded some closeups. The only Sot23-6 IC is marked as HS5NG ic6200. In other posts there are mentions of micro switches on the main board for this model but I cannot find in mine.

There is a very informative thread here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...wer-no-display

Should try the In-Stop trick next.

      Any suggestions more than welcome!

No, it was only a misview, them was only white markings, anyway my doubt was on the standby microprocessor, i wonder why the board picture is 3000x4000 but so very low detail, i cannot name the ic position.. if it is sold already programmed, i would do a try..

                Hi,
i have tried the In-Stop and In-Start with LG service remote. However the tv screen never switches on. The remote power button works fine and tv responds to the power commands but relays clicks off again after 3 seconds. The optical out red laser never switches on. Usually this indicates main board has powered up.

Also have read about the microswitches but i haven't found any in my main board.

Any other tips before giving up please?
                Tks !

                    Hi again,

With the P-ON from remote the screen is lit for a few seconds but a vertical line only is visible. It will eventually go to standby again after around 3 seconds. I have removed Ribbons to screen 1 by 1 maybe I can get the LG logo somehow but didn't manage. Then I put back all connectors and removed the TCON signal cable and P_ON again and the same line was shown. I have checked the TCON for some burns or open fuses but all seemed good.

I am inclined to reason a defective panel but has seen wonders in this forum so fingers crossed there are some other procedures I can perform.

                    Regards

                      Symptoms:

The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

                      Progress:

After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I...

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
                      by Ierwin
                      Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020
                      by slimmy182
Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

what i went through dealing with my mobo with dead onboard sound!
                      by ChaosLegionnaire
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...

                      Hello

i have a older powersupply from XFX that makes this wierd electronic ticking /clicking noise. Its not the fan thats making the sound. See video below. Is anyone familiar with what component this sound can come from?
