Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
You can disconnect the cable between the Main and the T-CON and see if the you can turn TV on and off and will get the backlights. You can still have possibility with bad used main board, hopefully you get the correct board that matched the original.
You will also need to look at the main signals: PS_ON, BL_ON to see if they are present when TV is turned on.Never stop learning

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
i disconnected the cable and all i get is the red standby led still wont turn on. i got the 715g33269-1 main board i ordered the same number board it is identical but at the top of the new board it where the t-con board connects it has another place for a cable to hook up (the original has the spot for it but the connecter is not actually on the board like the new one)Comment

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
Did you use the numbers as printed on the badcode (for PCB sssembly, blank board stuffed with parts) or the numbers (white numbers) as printed on the circuit board (which is the PCB number for blank board)? The one on the barcode is the PCB assembly (blank PCB stuffed with parts for particular PCB assembly), the black board can be stuffed with a bunch of parts to make a bunch of different PCB assembly for the TV model as needed. That is why the connector is not in the same location as the original.Never stop learning

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
As you can see from SJ site: the warning about the P/N.
"Partial part number (TQ9CBZK019) is found on barcode sticker."
"Partial part number (TQ8CBZK027) is found on barcode sticker."
There are more than one versions of this model:

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
the orig is tq8cb zk027 top:a mb:a v2.05
the new is tq8cb zk034 top:a mb:a v2.07
with the numbers not the same and it being a different v would that make it not work or are the compatible with each other?Last edited by jrp070282; 08-18-2014, 10:26 PM.Comment

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
I cannot tell unless you have the diagram of the board to see why they are not the same.
So you have PCB assembly "tq8cb zk027 top:a mb:a v2.05", you may be able to use PCB assembly tq8cb zk027 version2.06... 10 or what ever.
But the new board does not have the same base number, you have PCB assembly "tq8cb zk034" version V2.07.
They make more than one assemblies for reason, if they are not needed they will not be making them since it costs money to keep track and stocking bunch of assemblies.Last edited by budm; 08-18-2014, 10:42 PM.Never stop learning

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
Just have to put in the right board fisrt, BTW, was this TV worked on by someone else before and did it just quit by itself?
Make sure the new board is warranty, you cannot never trust Ebay seller, they always say tested working board which means they must have lots of TVs to put the boards in and test ALL the functions which almost impossible to do.Last edited by budm; 08-18-2014, 10:52 PM.Never stop learning

Re: insignia ns-l32q-10a wont turn on
Lighting surge can damage lots of component, especially the HDMI IC for the HDMI ports which most TV uses to connect to the cable box.
32" Insignia is not worth very much, so I hope you do not put too much money into it unless you want to use it as learning experience.Last edited by budm; 08-18-2014, 11:00 PM.Never stop learning

by madsoxGreetings!
Thank you in advance for your understanding, I am writing to you through a translator.
A Harman Kardon AVR171S amplifier was given.
The history of the machine is as follows:
It was faulty when I bought it, I want to fix it.
I replaced the HDMI switch and one of the DAC ICs in it.
After that it worked without a problem.
I watched a movie using the amplifier, and at the end the amplifier got really hot.
The cooling was faulty, I will fix this later.
I switched it to standby mode, waited for...-

by maxim2511My Oled Tv is 55inch tv, 3 days ago I notice that middle of the screen is getting warmer and on picture I have ghosting, missing red color. Color red was still displaying, but it was not so strong as corners of the screen and watching some movies makes me angry.
Then I get an idea to take it apart and clean boards from dust.
In side of Tv was not so bad, I take compressed air in can, and gently blow up.
Also I was thinking to styrofoam sponge to isolate power board from screen that the middle of the screen will not worm so much. Because Led on screen when gets higher... -
by AleMontiHi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.
The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.
After checking the basics I did the following:- I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It

by cheeky2I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection... - Loading...
