    Picked up a Panasonic TC-P50ST30

Grabbed this last night for my media room, when not using the projector. The seller actually threw in a free non-working 20" Vizio, but that's for its own thread. I wanted to see if there's a way to absolutely confine the fault to the main board. I have 5vstb, and that's all. No other signs of life. Reading through the 2011 plasma doc's flow chart:

No AC relays when plugged in > 5vstb IS present > No AC relays with A1 disconnected from A board > replace A board.

Is there any way to put the nail in the A board's coffin? On my 42" Panasonic plasma (which is now in my 10 year old's room, as an upgrade to his 37" LCD thanks to help here!), we essentially bypassed the SC board to allow it to power on and nail down the fault. Can any other troubleshooting be done here before I drop a decent amount of cash on a board? Thanks again!

This could work , disconnect SC2, SS11, P35, 3 white ribbons at the A board and see if it turns on. Check for vsus voltage at P2 (around 200v).

Also check for short circuit across SC2, common failure. can cause locked solid LED or 14 blinks.
