Hi Guys,
I changed the T-Con and it solved all my artefact problems, which is great ! But now I have another issue : the image looks weird (kind of noisy), the borders are black and irregular, and I have a faint QR code and text appearing. They are not clear enough to see what's written or to flash the code.
It may be a calibration issue between the naw t-con and the panel ? Any idea ?
In the option I can export the EDID from the damaged t-con. Would it be a good idea to put this EDID in the new T-Con ?
Thanks again for your help ! I would never thought of changing the T-Con without you, and it was super cheap!Comment

This is normal, to obtain a replacement tcon from donor set means the flash is fitted with calibration data based on images displayed on the previous oled, what you need to do is to only keep the set on for, say at least two hours, done so the automatic recalibration does the job, i think probably the faint ghost images disappears.. good luckComment

this had nothings with calibration data.. F°°°K OFF, the firmware version on the replacement T-CON didnt match with main firmware you have on MB.. the answer downgrade firmware then upgrade to the last you will be fine... we have here threat same things search after my name OLEDComment

Hi guys,
Regarding my issue, I Ieft the TV on for 3 hours, then turned it off, and now the qr code disappeared and most of the black bars on the sides as well.
I still have an issue with some vertical lines and slight lightning differences, but the TV is definitely usable now! Thanks a lot for your help!
I will start using it that way and see if things improve after a couple of weeks, unless you have another suggestions to finalize the recovery ?
Thanks again! The repair cost me 30€ so it's a great deal for such tv, even if the image is not perfect.1 PhotoComment

As it says the tv, COOL!..
i do not know the secrets of the calibration, what i suspect is that if it does not improve more you need to give some hot air flow under the BGA set of the tcon, not a real reflow, less, when you might find a perfect balance, or after some week whithout any new idea, i STRONGLY suggest you to take an hot glue gun and carefully seal perfectly every bga ic on the tcon board and also on main board, otherwise you will say goodbye to the set one day.. bye..Last edited by Davi.p; 10-22-2025, 02:05 PM.Comment

It is a thing with a lot of the oled panels being faulty, I believe they call it the oled panel lottery. some have had to return a few tvs before they got a correctly working panel.Comment
-
yes its kinda of lottery.depending on operation hours only... OLED and related T-CON are mass production line... no Calibration date who never had under his hand OLED are talking on it..
the deferment are at size and SW version between MICOM / MB main firmware and T-CON section... then order of MICOM and main firmware for Pixel Refresh take action at start up.. if there version gap no action will be done and T-CON will send data from last point it was at its original set... some time we call it burning .. but they are not.Comment

Hi Davi,
I am back, with not so good news. Some horizontal lines are starting to appear, in addition of the vertical lines that were already here.
The TV is still usable, it's barely noticable most of the time, but I'am afraid it's gonna worsen over time.Comment

by N3StarHello,
I need help identyfing what is broken on this GPU - GPU core or VRAM. Let's start with what I did and know so far:
- disassembled, added missing SMD capacitors from same GPU
-(If anybody knows what Q518 is and would share this information I would be very grateful)
- artifacts during Windows booting are blue vertical stripes, I can take a photo if that would help
- artifacts in Windows are yellow-ish horizontal lines
- in BIOS/ text on black screen text gets extremely garbled
- GPU-Z doesn't show GPU or VRAM frequency
- GPU error 43... -
by klugecHello (sorry for my bad English),
I have a strange problem with my KVA2 RTX 2060 Super. As soon as Windows 11 is loaded, artifacts appear. Now the crazy thing: When I start Furmark the artifacts are gone and Furmark runs great without crashing. Mats test shows me no errors (PASS). Drivers can also be loaded without any problems.
Mods shows me the following error:
...Code:MODS start: Thu Feb 1 19:16:00 2024 Command Line : gputest.js -oqa -old_gold -test 94 -dramclk_percent 100 -ignore_fatal_errors -run_on_error -fan_speed 70 -matsinfo

by madcrowHi There,
Anyone familiar with this kind of display artifact?
Gallery: https://imgur.com/a/tYc2dWK
At a superficial glance, it sort of looks like screen-tearing. But that square-wavy boundary is weird...
The phenomenon was detected on- 3 screen <=> PC combos consisting of
- 2 different screens (same model: Philips BDM4065UC)
- driven by 2 different PCs via
- 2 different Nvidia GPU models (one desktop, one mobile) multiple generations apart,
- running on 3 different Nvidia drivers, each with siginficant age-gap,
- under Win10 Pro 22H2.

by rattlesnakeI recently put together a retro build that uses a particular AT PSU that fits in this case (LPX).
The model is HPN-100. I'm attaching pictures.
The issue is that after a few seconds of being on, I start to get strange artifacts. The image looks wavy. First it's fine and then it starts to pick up. After about 60 seconds it looks like this:
Does anybody know what kind of failure this is?
Can the caps be faulty? Which ones should I put more emphasis on?
What's the potentiometer for? What else should I check?
