    Samsung PN51D7000FFXZA No Picture

Hello all and thanks for a very informative forum!

I had my Samsung plasma die on me a few weeks ago. I was on the verge of replacing it but there really is no new technology that is affordable out there which would be an improvement so I decided to attempt a fix, which didn't work so here I am, posting my own thread and leaning on the experts!

Symptoms: No picture, no standy light in front of the TV when plugged in. When power on remote is pressed, the standby light blinks quickly. When power on remote is unpressed, standby light goes off. I thought sound wasn't working but I accidentally got sound working yesterday. When I plug in the TV, the led on the logic board cycles 5 seconds on, 2 seconds off, which is a symptom of DRV_RESET and I don't know what that is.

What I've done: I replaced the main board and logic board with no change in symptoms. After that, I decided I should take some debugging steps before doing anything else. I measured the Vs and Va with everything connected and the values briefly hit targets of 207/60 before dropping to 0/0. If I disconnect the Y-board from power board and measure, the same thing happens.

My next step was going to be replace the Y-sustain and Y-buffers. Does that make sense? I read in a troubleshooting manual that the power board will not hold Vs/Va if Y-board is disconnected but the values will spike to spec and trail off, as I'm seeing which indicates good power board. The fact it is happening with Y-board connected indicates Y-board is bad. Any other tests I can do to confirm Y-board failure?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom that can be added to my logic.

You wouldn't happen to have the main board on hand still would you?
