Well guy's here is yet another TV I can't seem to fix and need my hand held. LOL
Westinghouse LTV-32W3HD It was totally dead when I got it and I found 2 bad mosfets and a blown fuse. I replaced those and looked over everything else and did not see any swollen caps and checked the diodes on top for short or open and nothing so I put it back in and when plugged in the amber light by the buttons flahes once then pause then two more flashes then out. during this time no backlights flash and when pushing the power button still nothing. Olnly get amber light when plugging in. I have 5v standby but that's it no 12v or the other 5v on the connector. I also removed the other heatsink and checked all those mosfets. HELP??

Perhaps test/change the small start up cap on the primary side may be a 50v one?

These Westinghouse Panels have Major mainboard/firmware issues I have only successfully fixed one and it was their first true 1080p VIA DVI panel that had 2 bad solider joints.

I have 2 sitting here one just needs a power supply/inverter board (works but no back light) the other I haven't dove into yet that once plugged in has an amber light and does nothing past that.

The last one I did I swapped out 4 mainboards and still could not get HDMI or audio to work in any source.

Well took out the 10 smallest caps and tested with my ESR70 and replaced any that were even borderline and same thing.

What is the board number.
Can you read the part numbers of the two ics - one 8leg middle bottom
another under the heatsink left hole second row down

Board number PSM217-404-R IC #DM0265R and under that is BVG11 next LM393N and under KXG622

Also checked voltage at big cap and only around 165v

did you do the PS_on jumper to check for the other voltages from the power supply?

Well I tried the resistor between a pin marked BLON and 5vSB and a pin PS and 5vSB nothing marked PS_ON so I'm thinking that was it. Main was unplugged and still no backlight or anything different.

OK, just the PS_ON forced on with resistor between PS_ON and 5VSTBY, check and see if you do have 360~400V on that main so we will know if the PFC Voltage booster is working or not since the backlights inverter needs that high voltage to work. When work on power supply with PFC Voltage booster circuit, you need to get the PFC working first before going any further.

It must be, now I get 388v instead of the 167v as before.

Just checked and no they do not. Still nothing but 5v standby.

OK, at least the PFC is working. Which two of the MOSFETs you have replaced?
Can you please also post the pictures of the bottom side of the power supply board?

Q102 and Q103 I replaced. Hope this picture helps.

OK, so those two MOSFETs are used for driving that main power transformer.
Please take the staright shot pictures of the bottom side in 4 sections so I can trace out the connections.
